The Col de Meyrand, on the Tanargue massif, peaks at 1371m. It connects the valleys of La Beaume and La Borne, gateway to the Ardéchoise Mountains, offers a wide panorama of the Beaume valley and has an orientation table.
To reach the Col de Meyrand from Joyeuse, take the D203 then the D24 towards Valgorge. After the village of Valgorge, follow the direction of Loubaresse. Arriving in Loubaresse, follow the direction of St Eienne de Lugdares, the pass is located 2.5 km after.
From Les Vans, follow the D10 towards Chambonas. After the place called “le Pont” continue on the D10 to Peyre. In Peyre, turn left onto the D4 towards St Laurent. Then turn right onto the D 403 towards Loubaresse. In Loubaresse, follow the D24 towards St Eienne de Lugdares. The pass is 2.5 km after.

There, you can take the GR de Pays Tour du Tanargue (IGN map 2838 OT Largentière/ La bastide-puylaurent), discover the church with the fortified tower of Loubaresse, take a break at the village's local bistro, admire the paragliders taking off at the pass or decipher your surroundings at the orientation table located below.
