The Peyre Brune estate extends over 15 hectares of hillsides in the far south of Ardèche, where traditional grape varieties such as Syrah, Viognier and Grenache work wonders.
The basic choices are focused on the search for quality: HVE certified operation, yields of around 45 hl/ha, soil work, leaf removal or manual harvesting for whites, modern winemaking tools.
These technical aspects should not, however, erase the essential, namely the desire to create a product of pleasure, of exchange, to reach out to people and try to make them share the efforts made and the pleasure felt throughout a season, from the first cuts of the pruning shears to the glass that fills in the cellar.
