Vélo GRAVEL au Pays des Vans : Les Trois Vallées – circuit n°3

A long section shared with circuit no. 4. After following the Bourdaric stream which runs under the village of Naves (a village of character). Gradually the limestone disappears for sandstone, particularly in the various hamlets of Gravières. A long descent leads to a small submersible bridge which spans the Chassezac. Changing banks, a beautiful climb looms in the commune of Malarce (schist atmosphere). At the highest point of the circuit and part shared with circuit no. 4, turn right to reach the forest tracks of the commune of St Pierre le Déchausselat, pine forests. We then enter the Sure valley for a few kilometers. The climb of "Ponge" leads successively to Montchamp then to Les Assions for a return via the small agricultural plain of Vompdes (commune of Chambonas).
