Route details
Description
High up there, on the borders of Ardèche and Haute-Loire, the foothills of the Massif Central will be your departure for this adventure on the GTA MTB. Then it's the Ardèche mountains and its trails that await you. We no longer look at it in the same way, seen today as a space of authenticity and freedom. Further south, we readily claim to belong to the Cévennes Ardèche. And finally to finish, you will cycle in southern Ardèche, the most popular and coveted of the Ardèche territories as it conceals treasures.
Crossing the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Natural Park, eager for wide open spaces, you will set off towards the Monts Mézenc and Gerbier de Jonc, the Tanargue massif, the Païolive woods and the Gorges de l'Ardèche. To finish in the vineyards and orchards on the hillsides before reaching the banks of the Rhône.
