Spectacle Jean d'ici, Ferrat le Cri
Wednesday July 16
La Ferme Théâtre 445 route d'Alès 07230 Lablachère
Discover this evocation of the life of Jean Ferrat performed since 2004 in an atypical place. The poet, who lived in Ardèche, observed the planet, men, society and knew how to alert us in poetry.
The text performed is punctuated by excerpts from songs in the original version and slides which illustrate the poet's words and warnings on the themes which were dear to him, offering to the ears and hearts of the spectators: the beauty of the words and music of Jean Ferrat, the warmth of his voice, as well as a breath of humanism and Ardèche.
A show, created in 2001, with the voice and ideas of Joël Bioux (“L'inspecteur Tigan”).
Jean Ferrat attended this show in 2004 before testifying: “a memorable recital, where I was able to see my life pass by in song in the most beautiful way and with a lot of emotion”.
In the first person, alone on stage, Jean-Marc plays the childhood, the beginnings, the career, the retirement in Ardèche and the great encounters of the author of “Ma France”. We meet Aragon, Christine Sèvres, Isabelle Aubret, Gérard Meys, Guy Thomas, Francesca Solleville, Jean Saussac, the painter friend from Ardèche…
Through the “magic of the show”, the public finds Jean Ferrat at home, preparing a television show, a sort of “attic of memories”.
He then finds old objects and remembers his childhood, from which one does not always emerge healed, the difficulties in making a “name” for oneself in song, his main professional or friendly encounters and this country that he sang so well. The text played is punctuated with excerpts from songs, in the original version, and slides, offering to the ears and hearts of the spectators: the beauty of the words and music of Jean Ferrat, the warmth of his voice, as well as a breath of humanism and Ardèche.
In 2008, in a final letter addressed to Cécile and Jean-Marc Moutet, Jean Ferrat wrote: "I am happy to know that many people come to see you and that you will spread my good word! I wish you much success."
