Le village 07260 Saint-Mélany
Since 1993, the Saint-Mélany market has been held on the village square every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., from Easter to All Saints' Day. All the exhibitors are local producers and artisans.
You will find:
– Wine from the Saint-Mélany vines, lovingly maintained and worked by the Arnaud family.
– Angélique’s production of organic and seasonal vegetables, based in Sablières.
– Lydie’s goat cheeses and faisselles, who leads her herd in the commune of Beaumont.
– Charcuterie and meat from free-range pigs from Gaec Les Caions in Charnier, Saint-Mélany.
– Charcuterie and meat from free-range pigs in Montselgues, produced by Laurent.
– Jams, coulis, ketchups, vinegar, etc. from Cricri’s garden in Sablières.
– Organic bread from the bakery “Scop la minouterie” in Rocles.
– Chestnut products, creams, natural and spiced chestnuts from Shanti Santi, Pourcharesse.
– Herbal teas, hydrosols, oily macerates and plant salts from Bernadette, based in Dompnac.
– The shrubs, plants and flowers of Nicole from the Jardin du Pioul in Dompnac.
– Children’s hats, jackets, soft toys and mobiles made from felt with wool from Laurent’s sheep in Pourcharesse.
– Books, novels and plays presented by the author, Jean Tirelli, from Dompnac.
– The artisanal, utilitarian and decorative pottery of Fanny, from Saint-Mélany.
