Exposition temporaire : "L'Egypte au temps d'Alba – Regards croisés sur deux provinces romaines"

Friday July 11 at 10:00 p.m.
MuséAl 99 route de Viviers 07400 Alba-la-Romaine
Cleopatra has just lost Egypt to Rome. At the same time, on the other side of the Mediterranean, the Roman Empire is expanding its power over the former Gallic territory and founding Alba, capital of the Helvi.
The exhibition "Egypt in the time of Alba, crossed views on two Roman provinces" was designed to allow the visitor to delve back two thousand years, on both sides of the Mediterranean.

From the entrance, the public can slip into the shoes of one of the four characters and explore the exhibition in “the exhibition where you are the hero” mode, and experience Antiquity.

The classic visit of the Egyptian part and the room dedicated to the province of Narbonne is also possible.
More than 100 ancient Egyptian objects from all over France, to be admired for 18 months.
