Cl'arté – Teinture végétale, aquarelles artisanales

Craftswoman, designer, dyer…
Passionate about color, both plant and mineral, I decided to create with nature.
Using sometimes very ancient techniques, I extract the essence of plants and their dyes to impregnate the fibers and thus create textiles that reflect the natural colors of the plants, sometimes unsuspected.
The stoles, bags and other textile items are entirely made by me from natural and organic fibers, such as linen, cotton but also silk or wool which were very important fibers in our region.
By transforming dye baths into pigment, and following traditional hand-grinding techniques, I also make watercolor colors.
Not only do I offer these artisanal colors to other enthusiasts, but I also draw myself using these pigments derived from plants and minerals.
