An old stone house in the region, rich in vaults, the Seigneurie offers four very personalized rooms and opens onto a splendid Mediterranean garden where the swimming pool unfolds in an incredible landscape.
Situated on a rocky spur, Naves is a peaceful medieval village, classified as a “Village of Character” attached to the small, dynamic town located 2 km below, Les Vans.
Description of the village and the guest house:
Naves has managed to preserve its medieval soul, largely thanks to its inhabitants who have restored the village in accordance with local traditions, a maze of small streets leading to a magnificent square where the 11th century church precedes the dizzying scenery of rugged nature.
The residence is served by two alleyways. Thus, there are two separate entrances that provide access to the four bedrooms of the Seigneurie de Naves. You will access the Blanche de Payzac and Picholine bedrooms through the entrance on Souteyrane Alley, and the Rougette and Frantoio bedrooms through Soubeyrane Alley.
In the central area are a wellness room (yoga and qigong) as well as a massage room and sauna. On this level, a high glass roof allows access from one part of the house to another. A beautiful vaulted entrance leads to the Rougette and Frantoio bedrooms.
It is through a pretty little stone bridge which spans the upper alley that one reaches a hut garden and the swimming pool.
First of all, a small covered seating area will allow you to sit down quietly to enjoy a drink, read or simply relax, whatever the whims of the weather.
Then a pretty arbor, protected from the burning rays of the sun by hundred-year-old mulberry trees, will welcome you for gourmet breakfasts.
A little further on, you can test your pétanque skills on the bowling alley provided for this purpose. The best teams can compete to win a complimentary aperitif.
A 12 x 5 m swimming pool will allow you to do a few lengths, relax and refresh yourself after your muscles have been put to the test by one or other of the sporting activities offered in the surrounding area.
Unless you prefer to stroll through the magnificent faïsses garden where more than 500 plants grow, carefully chosen by a young garden designer, for the pleasure of the eyes and the smell.
A breathtaking view will be offered to you over the rooftops of the old village and the distant horizons.
