Balades célestes : soirées d'astronomie contée
Stargazing requires a clear sky, so the evening is confirmed on the same day by text message and a postponement of the evening will be organized the next day or to another date in the event of overcast or even veiled skies.
Bring warm clothing and closed-toe shoes. The walk will take about 15 minutes on a road or easy path. Participants may bring lightweight folding chairs and binoculars. Personal lighting with a red flashlight is recommended but not required. Blankets and throws are provided.
Stargazing is a great way to raise public awareness about light pollution, which impacts biodiversity, and about access to the starry sky. We'll be walking as quietly as possible, using only red lamps to illuminate our path. You'll be amazed at how our eyes and senses adapt to the light of the stars and moon!
The outing is accompanied by a cultural mediator and amateur astronomer, sensitive to the transmission of the pleasure of contemplating the starry sky, a cultural and natural heritage of humanity to discover or rediscover and preserve.
Step into the legend of the constellations! A guided nighttime outing using a laser pointer to observe the starry sky with the naked eye and optical instruments, punctuated by stories of constellation legends. Locations: Banne, Berrias-et-Casteljau, Montselgues.
